John Archer's childhood friend and hired as part of the Jade Vanguard by the Tuatha De nobility. 

His sister was KIA during the Viekone/Swoigel insurrection, which bolster him to join Archer Logistics and help rebuilding.

He met a new older sister figure in form of Bell Archer, John's wife.

Both John and Bell remarks about how quickly Sasha grew up in a mere 2-3 years, unlike John and Bell, who never look aged (though Bell would gain a new form later when she's trying to introduce the "Battle Song" to the world).

Bell dotes on him so much to the point that Sasha had to put a cold demeanor just to avoid unwanted advances. Yet... Bell loved John and Sasha almost equally and Sasha pledges his life to the loving couple.

In turn, John wishes that he'll have somebody like Bell in the future.
